Why I’m Running

As a constitutional preservationist, I’m a concerned American who understands that the employees we are sending to Washington are not doing their job. I have read their employment contract, the U.S. Constitution, and believe with every fiber of my being I would perform the job as Representative while abiding by the contents of said Constitution more efficiently and concisely than those currently in office. I am firmly committed to leaving my country in better shape for my grandchildren and will not compromise on anything that will distract from that pursuit.

3 TOP ISSUES

  •  Election Process:     We must look at the root of the cause of the problem to realize why we continually send Constitutionally-challenged politicians to Washington. Why do we allow these Constitutionally-challenged individuals to retain their job 95% of the time when we only approve of their performance 10% of the time? The current election process is run by the two parties which only serves to perpetuate their control over the American people. We need a system which puts forth the best candidates from our pool of constituents, not the chosen few from the party ranks.

  • US Constitution:      We hear a lot of politicians talking about the Constitution but I am the only one with a 5-step plan that will get us back to a Constitutional government:

                    1.    No bill shall exceed 10 pages.

                    2.    All bills must be accompanied by the constitutional article authorizing said bill.

                    3.    No content in the bill that does not pertain to the title of the bill.

                 4.  All bills must be written in laymen’s terms and posted online for 7 days. (excluding bills which deal with        Constitutionally authorized                       areas of national defense)

                  5.    Any bill requiring expenditures must disclose total cost, how the bill will be funded, who the beneficiaries are, who will pay, and a sunset                             date.

  • Fair Tax :                    The current tax system violates the very natural law of the right to privacy. It’s expensive and consumes over 20 billion man hours per year just in compliance costs. That is more man hours than the auto, aircraft, steel, and manufacturing industries combined. It is time to institute the Fair Tax which not only abolishes the IRS but eliminates the costly compliance and loss of privacy. The Fair Tax will fund the government at an affordable level. Under the Fair Tax system, you make it ($$$), you take it ($$$). Considering the current IRS scandal, I believe it is time, and the American people are demanding, that congress stop tinkering with a bad idea (the current income tax system) and replace it with a fair tax structure that eliminates the IRS!!!

I have chosen these as three of my top issues because I am convinced that when these matters are addressed, all of our other concerns, such as our economic woes,  high-unemployment, illegal immigration, fiat money, and loss of freedoms, will all be rectified.
